Economics
Macroeconomics contains many inconsistencies and often relies on assumptions that conflict with one another. In our view, economics theory as a axiomatic system should be based on axioms. For this reason, macroeconomics should be grounded in microeconomic principles rather than treated as a separate body of theory. The book Macroeconomics Has No Clothes shows it all.
Yet even within microeconomics, different schools of thought frequently offer competing explanations for the same phenomenon. A mature science should strive for simplicity, coherence, and internal consistency. Its principles should fit together as parts of a unified framework, not as isolated theories that lead to contradictory conclusions.
This project is an ongoing effort to reexamine the foundations of economics, identify inconsistencies in existing theories, and work toward a more coherent understanding of how economies function. Additional articles and research will be added as the project develops.
